06 Or people who are planning to go abroad don't realize when they make a decision to move you know everyone's you know saying oh you know it's a better life and they're looking forward and the pastur are green but it's very difficult to take out your own values your own culture and your own where you came from very difficult to to to to take it out from within you isn't it you're always pulled back right what do you mean difficult you always lived in India you know what the traffic is you know what the what the system is you know the pollution so you you you know you have that Advantage so don't don't I think people I find people have this when they compare that's that's the way I don't compare and if you have your funds you know there's no place like India as far as I I yeah I'm telling you this now just wondering in your personal case in your personal situation is there anything that's holding you back to make that very very good question actually you know I can sense there's a fear you know
06 Yeah and which is fair enough you know it's a it's a it's a it's not unreasonable to be of change you know that's human mind hello everyone welcome back to another episode of Da return today I am excited to have Mr Deepak G on our show Mr Deepak G went abroad 35 years back and he stayed in abudhabi and currently living in UK and he has intent to move back to India so he's seriously considering that option as a part of the plan he has done a trial run last year from November to March of this year to see how the life would be so it's not
07 Like just a visiting but living in India and experiencing how the life could be so that he can get a glimpse of what the life could look like so that he can make a informed decision about his plans and how he wants to spend his time abroad or in India so I'm really looking forward to this discussion for someone who has spent more than 30 years abroad and who did a test run and who wants to explore this option and who is also inclined towards the spirituality like how that would play in different places abroad or in India so this is an interesting topic and interesting discussion and I'm really looking forward to our conversation with that welcome to the show Mr Deepak G thank you V thank you very much yeah thanks a lot so let's start with a
55 Bit about your background I know your education what made you to go abroad and we can take it from there right so I'm basically my background is it I did my education in Delhi and you know I think maybe the right time the it you know was when I was growing up the it boom had just started I think in in in India the government was introducing and I decided to do it and that's how I actually so that's my background so I've been in in it you know 30 or plus and I did my education in in the UK you know I did my graduation in Delhi also but then I I came UK and did my further education so that's how it all started I worked I I did did a little career change because I I was before I into it a very short stint with in hotel management with oberoy in Delhi so I was enrolled in the program but but

57 You know and then through that I I also went to Abu Dhabi but I I didn't really I don't think it was you know I felt it wasn't for me so I left and then then you know to to the it side so that's a very brief you know my background and I've been in in I I left you India or to Abu Dhabi just before the Gulf War like couple of years before the Gulf War so the thing the Gulf War was in 1990 if I'm not mistaken okay so so just before the gulf I think two years before I can't remember you know not exact but yeah so around that in late late late 80s yeah and then I went to UK in 1992 got it and I I'm based since you
40 Know I based in UK since you know since 1992 yeah so thanks a lot for that high level overview so how was life in UK I'm guessing you know spending 30 plus years there I'm assuming you're enjoying but definitely would love to hear your thoughts from someone who left in early 90s right I think things would have been so much different than and you know what we experience now especially with the you know FaceTime calls WhatsApp video calls it's much different than what it was so I'm definitely curious to know how was the life for an immigrant who moved in '90s to UK and how it evolved and how was your journey there I think very different you know it's a whole video in itself to be honest because you know I went in the middle of recession you know UK was suffering recession in 1992 so basically the jobs you know were very hard to come by at the time you know like if you want to do part-time jobs and things like that so firstly you know obviously the shock was
40 The weather it was freezing like was like I been in February freezing cold and and the other thing was I think at that time you we didn't have too many immigrants here you know you would even in in a in a in a city like London I don't know if you've been to to London recently it doesn't feel like you're outside India to be honest yeah but but that those days you know AV we didn't have many migrants really you know people who came in 60s and 70s and maybe 80 you know you would see but not a great deal you know the community was very small and very cohesive and you know you know you see an Indian on the street you would want to run and talk to talk to because you know it was like such a show you know no not a huge Community you know yeah and then again you know it was recession you know there was no internet there was computing computers were you know we used to have ZX Spectrum at the time you know very the the computer had just started to sort of come in you know like the the whole and it was it was very new and
41 You know so it was it was it was good and it was hard I would say it was it's quite hard yeah you wouldn't you know the jobs were not even the low end of jobs were not easy and they were not highly paid okay the salaries were very low very very low and and so experience no internet no YouTube so to find the information very hard yeah you know you to rely on friends and family and you know the network right yes in in a true sense and yeah so it was good I mean you know obviously you're a young I was I was quite young then so you know I had that ambition you know like I have to do something in life to achieve something in life you know and and then I was doing my my course at the same time so yeah it was it was very exciting exciting times so let's I think touch base about the intent of moving to India so what made you to maybe before jumping on to that I just want to touch base on this one unique point I think that you mentioned before we start the
40 Recording is about the parents in India while you're living abroad right especially when you're ring abroad for 30 years I don't know how often you're visiting them you know when they passed away like how did you go through it so I think you were mentioning something definitely want to understand the Dynamics as an immigrant who was living and who was still close to the family so if you can share some thoughts or insights on that that would be very helpful if you're relocating to India after years abroad listen up I have created something that will absolutely save you precious time that most nris waste while Googling this is based on my interaction with hundreds of people about their move back Journeys and uncover the biggest frustrations nris face when planning their return so I came up with something that can help a 15 week email series a free stepbystep road map to address these challenges and make your move back smoother and stressfree whether you're moving back for family retirement or VISA related reasons we got you covered here is what

45 Suppose I would call it more like self-improvement which is fine everybody wants a better life but I don't think that we consider the fact that we are leaving old parents behind we we don't think in that terms you know that's what I mean because you know when you're young you're only thinking about yourself you know the future okay and there's nothing wrong in it and and and I think now when I go to Delhi good you know there are Apartments after Apartments old people are living there children are living abroad and there comes a stage where they cannot I mean UK still 7 eight hours imagine us and Canada you know taking a flight need literally 24 hours and with ailments and issues it you know it's something you know you go abroad fine you can there's no problem but do consider you know how you're going to negotiate that because it's quite quite tricky you know and it's a very emotional and I've been watching your
46 Videos and I think if I'm not mistaken 90% of the people who have made the decision to go back has been the family you know so so yeah so it was for me but luckily luckily I I got my parents here in their last the latest stages of their life they used to come here and because I was starting out you know I I I never used to I i' I went back to India after 10 years that was a gap so my parents used to come and visit yeah my parents used to come and visit us or and then in the end I applied for their you know status residen and luckily I got it it's extremely hard in the UK to get all the parents settled now it's virtually impossible because they've changed they've changed the rules so so they were with us luckily and I was very fortunate and and also I lived I've seen the life through their
46 Lens because they were so in an alien environment yeah right because not be not people think you know people think that oh you know it's easy and nicer no it's not easy and nice if you imagine I was as I've saying to you earlier you know stuck in a in the house for 6 seven months in a cold Drey gray weather yeah where you know where you don't know anyone yeah and you're relying totally on your children I think you not covered this topic maybe maybe you should you know you know talk about this so when my parent my parents were with with with us they yeah it was very hard for them yeah to to to because they were completely they had no friends yeah you know how much TV you can watch yeah you know all the Social Circle was in India you know in India you get go out of the house there's a choar there's a Kamali there's a neighbor there's you can talk to the shopkeeper you you know you have you know as a humans we want to communicate right and and you're so dependent and so Reliant and they just
46 You know and they one thing I'll tell you V every time my parents would visit you know they were planning to come to three months for they still get excited you know we because I don't blame them you know we were working our children's were small they used to go to school and although my mom in the later years she did get a job she was working but it's very very out of they were they were never they're never mentally settled emotionally settled that that's what I was that was our experience maybe different experience for different people so anyway so that what yeah
20 That happened and then you know then obvious as as I was saying to you they passed away now you know my mom passed away during covid and my dad in 2011 so literally there is no like tie now with India although I I do come to India quite regularly so my my I think I think your guests have covered what I'm going to say now is what is the reason why you feel that you know what you know you want to because it's very difficult to take out your own values your own culture and your own where you came from very difficult to to to to take it out from within you isn't it you're always pulled back right my children are different they they're born bought up this is their motherland for so to speak you know this is their memories and their emotional attachment is whereas I my my feelings are very different you know and also as I was saying to you is the spiritual aspect of it as well you know since I started sort of you know my my you know my
21 Spiritual life I feel that it's May you know Indian life is more conducive you know although you can practice it anywhere but my case I find that you know with with to do with the the support to the spiritual life is much more in India than year yeah so the thing is you always feel that connection when you move and people tend to ignore it or suppress it and I think again this is another think you need to think about is if you're moving abroad think about your parents and families how you're going to negotiate think about that you might change your mind and you want to come back so do you want to keep a connection back in the UK going for example your friends do you want to keep a property you know this is what I've learned now you know over 30 35 years I've maintained my friendships in India which is a big thing yeah because in the you know in the when as you grow older it's very hard to make friends and so yeah so yeah so I
24 Always wanted to and and and since last I think I would say s eight years you know the spiritual life has been more you know I go to to vavan I go to you know the the the the the matura ravan and you know the the religious side of things it's I find more attractive and more supportive to my to my thinking yeah which I which I struggle here yeah so I hope it makes sense yeah yeah so sounds like it's the you know pullback or the emotional connection with the culture as well as the condu environment for the spirituality even though you don't have any Family Ties that's what I think pull you to you know
02 Try living in India right so let's talk about your trial run I think that's a smart approach I think sounds like you had the flexibility you are able to do that and how did it go how did you approach like why did you why did that thought of like doing a trial run occur to you like you know was it you and your wife the kids maybe you can talk a little bit about the planning behind that and how did you go about it and how it went actually yeah yeah yeah so as I was mentioning my mother had passed away in during covid yeah so my my parents they left us a apartment and you know they had bank accounts and pensions and you know the the usual in India so I had to you know we couldn't come during the CID period and so I came in 20 202 but only for two weeks and I realized you can't do anything you know where you go to Banks and all you can't do anything anything in two weeks is virtually impossible and because I'm a
03 Freelancer I thought maybe I'll take that opportunity this opportunity to sort out my Affairs you know my mom my parents have yeah you know their Affairs and also use this opportunity to you know to to find out whether I can really settle in and yeah I came you know so we had few family functions my my Ms came and my son came they they you know they were there initially but then they went back they went to Malaysia and you know they did their usual and they went back and I I stayed on so yeah it was it was a very interesting because I saw the official how you you know how how is the experience when you deal with the banks you deal with the government departments how do you what actually you know what is you know what is experience and then also I came in the worst probably the month in November in Delhi you know okay and and yeah exactly you know what what what it was like you know my throat
04 Just went you know from from airport to home throat was completely gone so so now dealing with pollution and and and and and the wedding season I would say something which I was pleasantly surprised you know look I have a motto you know if somebody's listening to this and and and and you know I would say India is a developing country okay you from a developed Nation say from the West okay don't put your expectations don't don't compare God's sake don't do that okay and I I would say something to you V that I was pleasantly surprised that I went to the banks things got done not out of 10 eight things got done two got stuck okay have patience have patience have that and and keep this thing in your thought hope for the best prepare for the worst you know La last
07 Minute things the the they would call me and say Sir this is not done last minute absolutely like the day I'm for example they were supposed to transfer you know the funds they would say sorry sir we don't have this information absolutely they should have known yes or or they would not disclose you they will not give you you know full information and you're going from pillar and all I would say say is have patience and if you have a local contact you know involve them with you like a you know family member or something but it is not it is not that bad as people give you know give the impression thing is if you want to hurry things up if you start comparing things you know don't don't do that because it if it takes time let it take time chill enjoy you know I in my case I wasn't working you know I I had nowhere to I mean even if I was working you know there's no need no need for getting worked up that's what I'm trying to say you need a lot of patience in India you
09 Know and and and and and there nothing bad I mean this is the way it is accept it because I think problem I find is you know a lot of people don't accept it right the the the situation that's what I mean the other thing I found was which which my experience was that I got sick quite a few times okay and that is again your your transition because my body is completely changed you know living for so long so so so expect that bit of a illness and sickness and be prepared for it you know I mean I was an antibiotic yeah it it went away in two three days but and but it happened frequently you know so prepare for that keep keep even though you follow the hygiene you know you'll still get it you know so go with go mentally with that and another thing I would say to you is is that I think it took me mentally at least three to four three months to really getting into the Rhythm of Life in India if you try to hurry things up
12 You're going to get frustrated give it time don't get frustrated by the first little block you have in Life or by things you see you know there too much noise too much days too don't don't get because you're there for a reason if you're going to retire or you're going to move back you're there for a reason and keep the reason in mind and and and and try to overcome you know these issues you know they're there you I was born in India I know what when people tell me oh you know it's difficult what do you mean difficult you always lived in India you know what the traffic is you know what the what the system is you know the pollution so you you you know you have that Advantage so don't don't I think people I find people have this when they compare that's that's the way I don't compare yeah but it was and then what I did was just to share something with you I think you were talking about your own holiday and I was there and I said hold on you know I I why not while I'm waiting you know I by the way while I was there I I did my my apartment my my parents apartment up you know because it was in it was in a state okay and so
15 That's another thing I used the builders I use the electricians and that was a good experience again was a you know people just turn up and and and and you know when I compar to UK it's no expensive it's it's quite affordable quite reasonable so it gave me an an a a snapshot of my expenses my like over budget you know my budget my monthly budget how much I think I need to be really comfortable and and then I decided as I was saying to you I decided that you know I'll go on to Sri Lanka yeah so I took a short break I went to Sri Lanka I went on ramayan Trails you know I did I was there I went did the whole ramayan thing and it was absolutely wonderful yeah so so point is you are making make some plan you know don't come and just just decide I'm going to sit and I'm going to do this you know be active be be do things create something that's what I'm trying to say right and just last thing I would
16 Say to you is that things which I can't afford and I I have no no hesitation or whatever I can't in UK I enjoyed that in India okay you know going to nicest restaurants going to nicest places you know honestly and I which which you know you go here you know one meal can cost you 250 you know 300 you know I'm not saying I can't afford it but I think it's very expensive so so I could go to India and I said you I can sit in a beautiful F star hotel you know for a night or for for the meals with my friends and I could easily afford it yeah so so that's another thing you know especially if you're an NRI you can enjoy that yeah you know so yeah so this is so so in the end I think unfortunately or fortunately when I my mentally I was settling in which took me nearly four months I was really getting into the rhythm of things you know obviously have to come back so it
16 Overall yeah I learned a lot one thing I forgot to mention which was a negative for my experience was I think you know you know look there's no point put things under the carpet if it's quite blatantly obvious okay and that is I can live with I can live with po I can live with population I can live with a bit of sound and all that but it's it's pollution is an issue especially in the north so if you're in Delhi in around suround the area and you got health conditions you know I have health conditions especially if you have lung I mean I don't I'm not athematic or anything like that so just just be aware of that you know if you have to put P air purifiers you know put air purifiers you know do whatever you know but end of the day it is something you'll have to consider very Point nothing can be changed and I think you know you have to pick a place where it's much more in a better place or you know see how you can mitigate or or make Provisions yeah or make Provisions you know you know you know you know you like that so so now that I think you have
19 Completed your trial run and based on your experience and where you are I know things evolve and change as the time goes by but what your current thought process about spending time in UK versus India and you know with the kids family here Ju Just wondering your thought process about you know your plans after the trial run right right yes yes yes I think my plans are you know like I would just you know say one thing that you know we as Indians you know we we obviously are very family oriented people you know we for us children you know the rest of is is is quite important but I think there has there has to a time when you start thinking a bit about yourself that you've done your kids are grown up they're living leaving leading their own lives and now it's time for you whatever the life is left on this planet right so you want to make the best of it you know you want to take the best experiences you know so it's quite important that now it's time to
20 Focus on myself you know and and and and or anyone you know for that matter and whatever works for you you know you don't have to come to India where you can retire anywhere do whatever so whatever works for you so so my plan is you know as I was saying to you that I'm Into You know last seven eight years you know I I I I follow a spiritual practice and you know all our our Matas ashrams and you know with the vashion of tradition are based in India you know and so so whenever I go there you know it's you know it's a different feeling and I want to obviously practice practice more of that you know bring it you know into bit into my life so so you know even if I'm spending 6 months to start with again don't have to complete make a drastic check change so you know slow change so I will try that you know I will try to move maybe three months four months five months and then get into the spiritual life slowly I already have connections by the way so
22 There is no like you know where I don't need to find out where I need to go what I need to do but it's something which I need to make because the thing is I've got a bit of a health condition so I just need to think about those things a little bit more so so yeah I mean that's that's the plan and also I think I've have although I'm not old enough to retire but I think I've come to the decision that enough is enough yeah so so that that is happening next year and yes yes so so basically you know I I will call it today as for the career professional wi and focus more on my spiritual life that's that's what I plan to do and and then yeah I mean if my health allows that is the most important thing I'll see how my body reacts while I'm there then yeah I will slowly and slowly spend more time here here means in India and you know no you know just develop my own spiritual practices and you know go around different you know you know India South I'm not you know I'm not even believe to
24 South India and i' such a I'm you don't know how much I'm desperate to go South India and visit the beautiful temples and the Beautiful locations and it's it's such a be you know there's so many places you know you know India has so so you know that's the plan and and and if and if you're active and if you have your funds you know there's no place like India as far as I I yeah I'm telling you this now yeah so that I
52 Think kind of nicely segue to the the discussion which I think you kind of indicating you the funds right so you kind of indicated also about a a good estimate on what your budget or you know monthly expenses if you're okay again you know it's a general ballpark range you know for someone who is planning to because you know some people who have lived abroad for a long time they might not know the what the true expenses are you know what's the reality you know is the cost of living really you know affordable or like it went so much high with inflation so would love to get some data points because everyone's lifestyle is different so it's very hard to say like this is the number but it's good to get a range from different perspective so that they can at least understand you know this is the life I'm trying to maintain so would love to hear that that one aspect and also you kind of indicated from you know Corpus financial planning you know some like you know having the funds anything that you're willing to share on that aspect yes yeah yeah yeah sure I think I think I me the thing is you know you you're right I mean everyone is so different isn't it
52 When it comes to finances I mean you know do you want to go meals in a five star hotel or do you want to go in a local restaurant it's it's all and you know I've done everything you know I'm very flexible that way and and what I would say is if you don't have if you don't have a rent or a mortgage for example in my case I don't have a rent I don't have a mortgage so I think for two people I would say minimum a lack one L I would say minimum just yeah you know going going out you know maybe you know meals movies have a comfortable life having a domestic help you know and then medical checks massages yoga whatever is your so so I would you know you don't want to go there and think if you're thinking about money then don't move yeah you you got to go and a place you don't have to look at the price you want it you take it you understand yes
53 That kind of that kind of Outlook you need to have I think a lack for me anyway in a in a in a in a place like Delhi is I think it's I think for two people is more than enough more than enough I mean more more more the more cushion you have of finan you know you know more money it never hurts but sorry I think the takeaway point is it's you know one lakh for two people in a Metro like Delhi can have a comfortable life with some cushion you know where you should not think about certain things yeah if there is no mortgage or or rental rental yes very important Point that's the biggest that's the that's the biggest expense yes so yeah I mean the facilities are here you know you know you you you you if your money all all the things are available you know I mean that was as I said to you in my experience was a big change I can order things on the app 10 minutes it's the door step you can't get this here yeah unbelievable for you know so yeah cool anything that you can share
54 On a financial planning I know you mentioned about retiring like in the next year and anything that you're considering on an investment side or anything I know you kind of touched on the expenses so maybe like I I I I I would say you know yeah of course money is very important you know you you you you first of all because in UK the retirement is 67 the state pension so we get State Pension like in the US you get your benefits so but in I think us you can take it early I think around 62 but we cannot do that yeah so 67 is the is the age here so and I and I've still got like 8 n years 10 years to go literally so so that that is out of the way so I'm really relying on my own Investments and my own funds and as just given you like a bit of a budget yeah but you know so if you're making you know if you have that passive income or some sort of Investments coming in you
54 Because yeah I mean you got to you got to look at that and I think you discussed that with Alice explained very nicely with with the US you got to work 10 years you know to get the yeah here also you need to work at least minimum 10 years to claim the pension but the only difference is that here you start getting a 67 got it and and to be fair it's not huge so so you can't just rely on the state pension but you can obviously if you have an occupational pension like if you're working for a company and they have in in UK the occupational pension is is compulsory okay the they bought in the legislation just I think maybe us is the same equivalent I don't know nothing anything like that it's all like the government Social Security retirement benefits but not anything on a private yeah so my kids now when any pun now starting a new job the occupational pension is compulsory okay so the employer has to offer yeah and I think the idea is the government UK government doesn't have money and I
55 Don't think this state pension will will will be available in next 30 40 years I think it'll be gone so yeah so I think they they just preparing for it you know got it so yeah the funds are important and you know and and one more thing I will I want to you know say is that you know if you're moving you know and you want to keep yourself active in India you know with the money you know India is a good place you know where you can invest you don't have to you know you can generate funds now there you know there also but you need to plan a little bit ahead but when I you know what I've seen with within the funds and the you know stock market I think it's it's doing much better than here yeah for sure so something which you can consider you know property or you know whatever I mean if you don't want to do that that's fine but you know yeah so there are there are opportunities that's what I'm trying to say yeah makes sense but funds are very important very very important yeah so yeah thanks a lot for that so
50 Maybe just to wrap it up in a from a different perspective I know I think you kind of explained your plans your intent if you may is there anything that's holding you back to make a decision I know things can change but your intent is to move like slowly in a step by step like you know starting next year and so on but is there anything that's holding you up or you know to make that decision or to move to India I know we talked about some of the positives some of the things that people needs to be mindful when they're making a decision but it's also important some people might love to be in abroad which is completely fine you know make a decision and then stick to it right I think instead of like let the life go by just wondering in your personal case in your personal situation is there make that a move very very good question actually and and the only reason at the moment is because I'm in the final aspect of Tiding things up so so you know whatever I have to tidy things
51 Up here I'm doing that yeah because that's also important you know you don't want to to you know make a decision make a jump and then worrying about oh I haven't done I haven't finished that I hav't not done the paperwork I've not done this I've not inform the bank or you know those those things so you need to make sure you know I need to make sure that this it's more or less covered yeah you know it's all taken care of so in three months you know as I said like you know it's not long to go because my my plan is that you know you know I want to really call it a day with you know next three months three four months and and you know take it from there so yeah that's it really that's the only thing which is keeping back and and you know for me moving forward just one more thing I'll say is you know I want to explore India I'm not even seen I'm born in India but I'm not even explor India so not just I'm going to explore abroad I'm going to as you were saying that make Delhi as a base and travel to different countries I'm not seeing the whole you know the Russian the the the
52 The Russian States I've not seen the Beautiful You know I'm not seeing the southeast Asia and most importantly I'm not in India yeah yeah so so there's a lot of and and again just one more thing I would say is that you know when people move have a plan yeah make sure you have a plan yeah especially in my age you know when you are young you're obviously younger to me than younger than me and you got kids and you got other things to worry about at this stage but if you're my stage have a plan what are you going to do how you going to because you there's so much time so yeah so so this is this is it really so three months and maybe I would just suggest to you that maybe you start catching up with people whove already moving in a do a repeat to with all those people you've interviewed and see what their experience is and see where they are that'll be that'll be interesting as well yeah but yeah so so let's see I hope it works out and U you know March U next year India then going
52 Back again in November and then you know see how things progress yeah completely Mak sense maybe one last question from
59 My side that I wanted to check I'm sure you might have evaluated the health care between India and UK or some of the things I think you mentioned about the importance of that in your person situation anything that you can share or Insight you know in terms of the consideration I know we kind of talked about the pollution you know that's a reality but in terms of the healthcare facilities or I don't know if that was something that that you consider yeah yeah you know I I I when I moved I think I didn't consider when I was there and only in the end I started thinking about it that maybe I should with my whatever my conditions are maybe may maybe approach the hospital or find the best where I can get the best treatment you know in Delhi there's no problem like a very very good hospitals that actually I haven't done and you know with the thing is we have NHS here in the UK so even when I'm not working I can still go and get the National Health Service it's not the most fastest it's very slow but but
00 You know it'll keep you alive it won't let you die so so so yeah so that's a very good point and and this time around I I did do basic inquiries you know where can I go but I think I haven't done an in-depth you know you sort of research you know like if something happens to me what which should be my first Port of Call got you know rather than getting into the situation and then started looking for hospitals no I should have that Clarity that this is you know Hospital One hospital 2 Hospital 3 where can I go quickly if if the so that I haven't done as yet but that's a good point I I will definitely look into it yeah okay sounds good so
43 Is there any topic that we haven't covered or any advice that you would give for people who have been living abroad and considering about moving to India you know from your perspective you know I've seen so all most of your videos you know and you know I can sense there's a fear you know yeah and which is fair enough you know it's a it's a it's a it's not unreasonable to be of change you know that's human mind but I will say one thing to you it is only one life although we believe in reincarnation but as We Know It This Is The Life you're going to get this is the experience you're going to get this is an opportunity and I tell you you know I've done things in my life where I've gone to the boundary you know and and all where I really crossed the the boundary what I was what I was fearing and you know what it just enriches you yeah so don't be afraid and and and this is only one life all right you if you are from India you know the system you know and of course be prepar it now you
44 Got Channel like n you got so many videos now you got you can you can you know you can from these conversations you can pick up so many things but don't procrastinate don't hesitate you know if this is your calling do it yeah that's all I will say you know negative positive negative positive no no place is perfect I'm not saying India's per what is good for you that's that's the most important thing and and yeah go for it make a sensible decision make a intelligent calculative you know decision I'm not saying just jump into it without money without any don't do that obviously and if your children obviously I'm not in that position but if you have children you have to think about this but trust me it's it you know it won't go you know it's fine everything works out in the end so so yeah yeah I think I think what what I find is people overthink they just they tend to overthink I think sometimes they you know get more anxious and they just don't want to get out of the comfort
44 Zone you know while something is going fine why to rock the boat even though they have the intent or you know want to do something but that's where the magic happens right I think you know just have to step out a little bit of the comfort zone as you said you know you have one life and you have to experience things right so I think you know when you're making your informed decision what's the worst case that could happen right is it something that I can't change or revert back or if I don't do this like what's my path if I do this what's that magic can happen and people should be feeling comfortable to take that decision and act on it I mean you know analysis paralysis is one aspect but don't always be going with your emotion you know do your analysis but not too much where you can't make a decision I think yeah yeah yeah absolutely just if you have a minute can I just say one thing I I just remembered something if that's all right with you what I would say inash is that you know what I find is that when you make a decision right there is a you have a vision you have a purpose right
47 That why are you making the decision okay now I know of a case they their purpose was to move to IND so that they can give their children the culture the values right so that was the bigger bigger purpose if you can call that and then when they moved right without judging the now you know now suddenly the purpose has has been attained has been achieved kids are very happy they're settling in but now because of other factors right oh you know we can't live it's too much pollution too much this too much that I think the point is is if your purpose is clear you will overcome hurdles hurdles hurdles will be there regardless hope for the best prepare for the worst right or prepare whatever the you say so what I'm saying is a lot of people they fail because the purpose is not clear yeah have a very
49 Clar why you made the move if you think you you wanted to move because of the expenses the finances you know move to back to your family and that purpose is being solved you can tackle the hurdles for sure then they become trivial you don't even think about them right yeah and you don't think about yeah so that that is what I'm trying to say you know make sure that when you move your conviction is there that I'm doing it I'm doing it for this reason and this is the purpose and don't deviate because there will be days trust me there will be days where you say my God I want to take the plane ticket and I want to get out of this place this is not for me seriously you know there will be weeks and weeks but if you have a purpose no I came for this purpose and I'm achieving the purpose the purpose we met these are hurdle minor hurdles and I'll overcome them yeah as you said I think you know this is the same thing in a reverse situation right I mean when you go abroad also there is a clear of why you're going and it won't be smooth because you know you are going out from an you know safety Nest where you have
49 Your parents friends family who can help you when you're in a new place you're learning the new system you're trying to get adapted to that it it won't be smooth for the first you know 6 months I mean it's not like you know things will be like everything smooth but you are clear with your purpose and you're adapting to it I think on a reverse side also you have to give the same time and be clear with your purpose and what you want to do but I think to make your point very clear yes I completely agree you know the main purpose is the driving Factor obstacles are there everywhere no place is perfect just choose what's more important to you at a given stage of the life I know as the life evolves things can change and you can choose what's the right place for you to and but be very clear about it yeah yeah and and I will say two years minimum yes yeah minimum two years yeah that's great yeah thanks a lot Mr Deepak G for taking the time sharing your plans and your intent and your experience from the you know the test drive that you have done I think this is really helpful and
50 Provide a lot of valuable insights for our audience thanks a lot for taking the time and sharing your thoughts with us today yeah I I hope so too and it's been a pleasure and I think you're doing a a a very good you know this channel is very good that's why I was very keen to come on to your channel and and have a you know have a chat about it and I hope the audience will find it you know useful and as I said to you maybe we can do a you know after 6 months or after one year we can do a return video you know with all your viewers get their experience because that's a different ball game then altogether isn't it because once now you're here how you where are you you want to go back or you want to stay you know so so yeah so no thank you very much really really thank you for the opportunity cheers thanks a lot have a great day thank you you too thank you bye
